I like that spirit! Even you only have a small chance to be approved, you still go and look at the glass half full not half empty.
I'v read a while ago about an applicant who applied as an FCA. The job that he applied is totally unrelated to the job that he's employed. He also spend most of his time at the call center industry. But there... he got his visa. Sad to say I can't find that thread.
Here's what I can say, I think you only have 10% chance to be approved but don't lost your hope. Everything depends on your Visa Officer. Your right there, prayer is significant and you can ask for a miracle. Even I'm late to give my opinion. Here's my point of view on how to get a Visa even your degree is irrelevant to the applied job.
Secure an NC-II: You can get an NC-II within 6 months or choose the shortest one. Make sure your NC-II is now related to the job you applied. This is the most important and trust me this is based on my experience
Look for Certificates: While getting your NC-II. Look for other trainings that will provide certificates. Some NC-II doesn't required whole day at school. Much better if you can find a job at the same time. 6 months to 1 year is better than nothing.
Don't include very irrelevant information to your resume or certificates to your application: You applied as a cleaner and you include your SSS or COE for about 1 year in a hospital as a nurse. Ah-ah. It's okay that you will hide something to your VO anyway they only ask you to pass supporting documents or shall I say "The documents that will support your application". I heard once during my BPO training "Let them hear what they want to hear". But you can include your Basic life support, CPR or other trainings about safety. In every company safety is always present.
