Will an immigrated self-employed person be allowed to work for a Canadian recruiter such as an advertising agency?

you can do whatever you want afterwards, even restart your career.
but to immigrate as a skilled worked as self employed you have to provide proof you are actually working

I’m a freelancer too. Got approved for PR recently.

So basically I got reference letters from my main clients who mentioned me and my work and the services/duties performed by me (these should align with the noc duties on cic’s Site) along with a mention of number of projects and remuneration per project.. just to show that I’ve been working since the time period I’ve mentioned in application. There were no queries from CIC and all went well.
