Yes - we had at least one person here miss the announced change.

However I think the vast majority here caught it when it was announced a few weeks ago. There were several threads on the subject.

I sent mine to Mississauga at the end of May from Australia but I’ve received a notification that they have received it and processing the application so it must of made it to Sydney

It’s been a week and my application has not send back to me. What should I do? Please help me

IRCC said they would give a grace period to people who sent their applications to Mississauga instead of Sydney. There are a few applicants in June's thread with the same problem (including me). We still need to wait the 40-60 days to see if we will get AOR1 or if they will return the applications. You can join to June thread to stay updated

Where is the official announcement from Government about changing the processing centres? Was it announced officially or just updated on the processing centres page? Can you post a link to the official announcement? Thank you.

I know the address change is on the IMM document checklist, so if you used the right version of that form (updated in June 2018)then it would be on there. If you didn't it might get returned :(

Someone on the June thread said they mistakenly sent their to Mississauga on June 4th and just got AOR 1 from Sydney on 30 July, so looks like they are redirecting instead of sending back. It may add on a few days however.

I am trying to see how long Sydney is taking to get back to us with AOR1s - it is looking to be between 35-45 days at the moment. This is my second attempt to get the UIC number for my American Husband, the waiting is SO HARD!!

There was no official announcement. The application checklist was updated in June with the new address.

It's only outland applications that are being mailed to Nova Scotia now. Inland is still mailed to Mississauga.

Hi,
When in June it was changed? I submitted on June 7th, arrived in Mississauga on June 11th, but I'm pretty sure I used the correct checklist at that time and it said to send to Mississauga. Or maybe I was using the checklist from May? That's when I started preparing my application! So what now? I did get a file number on July 5th, sponsor decision made in ecas although haven't received SA yet. Linked my husband's application online and it shows reviewing eligibility, I'm confused now, is there a chance they'll send back my application?

The change was on June 7th. Stop worrying, your file is on a good path :)
