Hi all,
Finally I got my oath date. Can people who experienced the ceremony share the exp?
I have driver licence, Ohip and my PR card - would that be enough? Or do I need any other documents?

They also asked for Passports (current and expired) they outlined all the documents you should bring with you on your letter...

They should be in your invitation letter, it's pretty much the same documents you were required to bring along for your test/interview.

I had my oath last week at Kitchener. I brought a whole folder of documents however all they asked for is my PR card and the consent to be photographed etc. I saw them asking other people for Landing papers and Passport but all they asked for from me was that.

After I gave her the docs my guest and I entered. I was only allowed one person and they were very strict on this there was a woman with her small child and sister and she was only allowed one person :(.

We waited there a while for more people to show and then the ceremony started about 25 mins after the notice time. Other than the Judge there were two other guest speakers. After the Judge addressed us and gave us a speach we said the oath and then they started to call us up to the front for our certificates. Then we had to sign the oath form. They said this was very important otherwise they could not finalize the citizenship process. Then we sat down congratulated one another and the other two guest speakers spoke.

In our initial package we were given various things one was a pamphlet for a cultural access pass. I signed up for mine i thought it was very useful.

Congratulation for being new Canadian :)

May I know your nationality (other than the Canadian one)?

Thanks a lot
:)
