Hi @legalfalcon , asking this for a friend , he is January aor 2020 and three months ago he was asked for an updated address and he submitted that and again he was asked for an updated address. So the question is whether this is normal and nothing to be worried about. Highly appreciate your thoughts.

Most likely it's a technical issue or the previous one was not updated.

Send it again.

Can we apply for the sponsorship outside of canada because we av thought of the sponsorship and we know it will take a while, am just seeking the best possible way to move at once.
You can instead file a family sponsorship application for your spouse and during that time apply for a SOWP.

Dear @legalfalcon

I hope it's okay to ask for your advice. Here are the facts:

Express Entry -FSW Application
AOR AUG 2019 (24 months and counting)
Eligibility-Recommeded Passed
Outland Based- Philippines
Prinicipal Applicant is not a US Citizen but with US TOURIST VISA
Dependent (Wife) is a US Citizen
Child is not a US Citizen

We are considering relocating to the US to help expedite our application since we noticed outland EE US based are being processed. my question is:

1) what qualifies an application to be considered relocated to another country? If my wife (who is US Citizen) moves to the US and I accompany her with a US tourist visa, can it qualify as a relocation? or do I need to have a work permit visa or a US green card to consider my application relocated to the US?

2) Given I only have a US tourist visa but my wife is a US citizen, can we wait for and have our PPR/COPR processed in the US?

3) What documents are asked if we advise that we have relocated to the US?

3) Can I inform Canada Immigration that I have relocated because my wife is a US citizen and I have a US tourist Visa?

4) Will my application be considered a US based application?

6) When my papers do move and I am in the US, can we do PPR/COPR in the US and not in my home country?

Thank you for your time and appreciate all your help.

@legalfalcon, please what does Assessment complete mean in the new gcms format?. Does it mean all statuses are passed?

Also, does verification completed means it has been successfully verified and no further verification is needed?

Hi @legalfalcon when canada will start processing application 2020 for outland pnp.
Me from March 2020 AOR did biometric and medical and paid my fees, no answer till now.
Its frustrating !

1. Under the immigration law, IRCC does not differentiate between inland or outland applications. Based on your country of residence IRCC may have a different process to send COPR or may have priority processing. If you move to another country, you have to send a webform and inform IRCC of your new address.

2. YEs.

3. No document is required. Just a web form with your new address.

4. see 1.

6. yes, see 1.

HELLO @legalfalcon

MY AOR is Feb 23, 2021 VO primary- Montreal Secondary- Sydney.

Got medical passed on march 10 and submitted BIL ON march 11 (not clear)
ADR (New Job letter ) July 20
BIL Again Submitted on July 29

my question is does your criminality starts after biometrics are passed?? and I complete 6 month period on aug 23 so if my criminality just started after biometrics on July 29 then it will still take 2-3 months for my application to approve??

Thank you in advance.

Hello, is there a difference in the results you'd get between ATIP or GCMS notes? I'm FSW inland applicant btw.

Hello LegalFalcon,

I had received my COPR nov last year but could not travel due to restrictions. I got married in August early and wanted to travel not knowing I had to inform IRCC of my marriage. Gross negligence on my part, however before I could travel I was able to inform ircc of this after a friend pointed out the same. IRCC has reopend my file within a day and asking me to wait for them to send me document list. I am PNP applicant and had received my first ppr within 5 months, I am stressed as to whether all of my app will be reassessed or just my spouse's documents? and will it take as long as it does to process a full outland application or I can expect the process to just assess my spouse's details. Your help would be highly appreciated, this past week has been a hell for me as I was about to potentially make a misrepresentation not knowing it

Dear @legalfalcon can you please shed some light on Inland applicants. How does it possible to have so many inland PNP and FSW with Eligibility Not Started after about a year since AOR?
Just R10 is done and then applications got transferred to different VO with zero movement.
This is so frustrating and almost surreal especially when ircc claims to process inlands.
