Hi to admin. permission to repost to follow up my question.

hi @legalfalcon how are you?

I have questions:
1. I am here now in Malaysia and have a work visa here, what will i do to update my application? is there a way that I can informed CIC that I am here in
Malaysia now for work? are there any documents needed?
2. which visa office is responsible for processing the PR application in Malaysia (once the application update has been done), is it Kuala Lumpur Office or Singapore office?

Thank you very much, and stay safe :)

Thanks to admins too..

Thanks for the reply!! Is there a channel through which I can contact you in person? Of course, would be glad to pay for your time :)

Also, I understand that until my current application is completed in terms of the decision, a new application would not be considered. Is that true or I can get directly get into the pool?

If you are a part of the getgcms team, I got my notes from there :) just FYI.

@legalfalcon Hi again. I was wondering if it would be possible to get in touch with you for a better perspective of my application?

Also, you suggested creating a new profile. Do you mean creating a new application through my existing profile or altogether one with new login details?

In such a case, I read that there should not be 2 profiles as set in Candian Immigration Law. Your two cents would be of great help!! Thanks :)

In my GCMs notes showing error In information sharing, this required any action from my side .
Thanks

Info sharing refers to IRCC sharing info with partner countries and other departments. In some cases when thesis transmitted electronically, it does not go though or is not required. This is when you see info sharing failed.

This is very common. No need to worry.

1. There are no documents required. Just send a webform and inform IRCC that you have moved to a new country of residence and also let them know your address. You can inform IRCC through the webform. https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx

2. Most likely Kuala Lumpur.

Is it a paper based EE application. If it is, then all paper based application are currently on hold until further notice.

Hello @legalfalcon ,
I have just received my GCMS notes, but it has the "A39-A41" section marked - type "non-compliance" with status "cancelled". May I ask you what does that mean, and should I be worried about anything bad?

Here is what it looks like:

OTHER REQS
A39-A41

A39-A41: 1
Created Date: 2020/06/05
Created By: [Officer X]
Updated Date: 2020/06/08
Updated By: [Officer Y]
Type: Non-compliance
Status: Cancelled
Status Updated By: [Officer Y]
Status Updated Date: 2020/06/08

When I compare the date and time to the "Notes" section at the end of the GCMS notes, I found out that on 2020/06/05, Officer X received my latest police certificate (due to an additional document request), and assigned it to Officer Y. Then a few minutes later, Officer X created the above A39-A41 entry and set its status to "Not Started".

Then on 2020/06/08, Officer Y (who looks like the lead officer) updated the status of the above A39-A41 entry to "Cancelled". Then a few minutes later, he created 2 notes, saying "CRIMINALITY: PA: PASSED, NRT - ALL REQUIRED PCs ON FILE. NO INDICATION OF PREVIOUS CRIMINAL ACTIVITY", and "READY FOR APPROVAL" respectively.

According to a webform reply earlier this month, the agent said my eligibility, criminality and security are all passed. Under the assessments section at the beginning of the GCMS notes, it looks like this:

ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Passed
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: System Error
Other Reqs: Cancelled
Final:

So in your professional opinion, do you think my application is going well despite having the "A39-A41" section marked as "cancelled"? As the newest note says "Ready For Approval", should I still worry about that section?

To me it look like Officer X marked it for some reason, but Officer Y (the lead officer) reviewed the documents and cancelled it later, and determined my criminality as passed. Do you think this is possible?

Thank you very much!

@legalfalcon In your experience, what does it truly mean when, upon requesting GCMS notes on your Citizenship grant files, they require extention in their dealine (60 days extra) because they need to perform "consultations". What are these usually about?

The GCMS notes are processed and released under the Access to Information Act or the Privacy Act. IRCC can seek extensions under the provisions of these acts.
