@legalfalcon I did an upfront medical exam as a QSW, today I got a medical request from IRCC. I went to panel physician office and they say its possible to change the IME number and resend the medical results. Is this the best way to do it? Any other steps and advice you can give me?

Hello @legalfalcon ,

i received re-med request for my spouse only (dependent)
I havent received mine and I am the primary applicant.

is it normal?
shall I still do my medical as well anyway?

Hi @legalfalcon my enquiry is:-
I was added as a dependent in my wife application bcz of marriage after AOR. So, last year I got few forms to fill. The thing is I went to a foreign country for one and a half year like from around mid jan 2018 to mid july 2019. In generic info form form they asked the exact dates of foreign stay which I wrote from mid jan 2018 to mid july 2019 but Schedule A in the address history column as I was in India for most part of the month in Jan 2018 so I wrote my Indian address in jan 2018 in address history and started my foreign address from Feb 2018 as I did not knew last year that we can overlap the dates.

Now, I got to fill the travel info form in which I wrote I travelled in jan 2018 and showed the stamps too. My question will they not think that if he travelled in Jan 2018 why he is writing foreign address from feb 2018. Otherwise the dates are correct in Travel info form and generic info form that is jan 2018. Is this something to worry?

hello @legalfalcon ,

I received ADR
AOR: Dec 2020
Police Certificate: please provide an original police clearance certificate
from each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer
since September, 2020.

1)This means I need to submit PCC of my current residency ?
2)i left UAE in 2019 and submitted my PCC after that
However, from 2020-2022 I have lived for not more than a month.
Shall I submit fresh PCC of UAE too?

1. yes

2. If you did not live in a country for more than 6 months, you do not have to provide PCC for it.

  • For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than 6 months before the submission of the e-APR.
  • For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after the last time the applicant stayed in that country for 6 months or more in a row.
  • Police certificates meeting the above requirements can be accepted even if they have an expiry date that has passed.
  • This includes the requirement to provide a police certificate for countries in which the individual has travelled for 6 months or more in a row, whether or not the individual had an established residential address during this time.
  • Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.

@legalfalcon

what happens when I link my existing PR application to a new GC key account. Can I still log in via the old gc key account?

If you create a new GC key and link your application to the new account, your application will only be available in the new account and will disappear from the old one, even if you can log in to the account using the old gc key.

Thanks
for point no.2, I did live there before and left in 2019 and submitted PCC in Dec. 2020
New PCC requirement is after Sept. 2020. I did visit UAE after Sept. 2020 twice as a visitor but stayed not more than 1 month.

okay thanks.

All this time, IRCC email correspondence was sent to a gmail which was linked to old gckey. But I'm using a new email for new gckey.

So should i notify IRCC about email change or will this automatically be updated?
