I would appreciate your advice and knowledge on my query:
I am on a work permit ( PA), and have a visa to travel and my spouse applied for inland spousal sponsorship for me, and I see ELIGIBILITY is completed* for both of us, I recently received PRE ARRIVAL LETTER , but the status is still In progress (as of today) no decision made
yet, background check not started.

I am in my home country for a family emergency, and worried. I think it might take 1-2 months for decision made, background check and to arrive the PR invite for portal.
If I am outside Canada and COPR request arrives, do I need to be in Canada.

Before the COPR will be issued, you will be sent portal credentials to create a log in id. To receive a COPR through the portal, you have to be in Canada. If you are not in Canada, you have to inform IRCC. You can either wait to come back, and then use the portal, or request IRCC to send you a PPR so that you can submit your passport.

Hi sir @legalfalcon . Need your help. I made a mistake. I only sent 1 copy of the TT services contest form for Passport submission in New York. It’s supposed to be 2 copies. How do I fix this? What can be done? Thank you sir.

You can send a webform or call.

I don;t think it will be an issue.

1. There is no way to track PR cards. You can call, or send a webform and inquire about the date it was dispatched.

2. PR cards are currently taking way longer than normal, so 60-90 days is normal.

Has the form changed since 2019?
I have already filled it last year. And nothing has changed in it.

Just received an ADR for schedule A, new PCC, and Proof of funds AFTER two days of receiving a request for a new medical.

I had a few concerns:

1. The proof of funds document field in the upload document area is empty and the required by date for all documents is March 16, 2022, which has already passed. In the document I have received, the due date is on 16th April, although the document is dated for today (which means the due date should have been 17th April). In the letter, they say that the field for uploading documents will disappear if the document isn't uploaded on time.

2. There is no empty schedule A form is attached for me to fill. I can google it and download the form, but did the others receive the schedule A form attached with the ADR request?

If anyone with any experience with this, please help me,

@legalfalcon sir. Lots of applicant now a day received remedical along with the adr like pcc and schedule A.
But i only received remedical request. My criminality is already expired came to know through notes.
is it advisable to send them pcc and schedule A without being requested?
Please give your valuable suggestions.

I have a question if you don't mind answering. I applied for a TRV in November and it was refused on the grounds of intent that I will not return.

Anyways the issue is I made a mistake with my siblings year of birth on the family information and now I am in the process of applying for PR and noticed this mistake. I am worried about misrepresentation now although only the year I entered was wrong, date and month is correct but I mistyped the error and I did not notice it at all. I am worried as to what should I do now regarding this. I am worried regarding misrepresentation ban.

No need to be concerned. When you submit your PR application, enter the correct date and in the LoE explain the error.

IRCC will ask you if the PCC is required. Criminality does not expire and neither do the PCCs. However, if you have changed your country of residence or if IRCC feels that there is a need for an updated form, they will ask.

If you are experiencing difficulties in uploading the documents via your MyCIC account, send the documents via webform.

IRCC will ask for a new from when they wish to verify the details and to know if there have been any changes.

IF there have been no changes to the information since you last submitted the form, you will still need to fill anew form and send it.

Hello sir please could you give me some assistance.
My AOR is May 2019 and I recently got an ADR for updated POF including a 6 months transaction history because I added my newborn baby to my application.

I got married after my AOR and later on opened a joint savings account with my spouse in which we’ve been saving money and I intend to use this account to demonstrate that I have sufficient funds to support a family of 3.

When I opened this joint savings account, I transferred money from my current account to this joint savings account in order to benefit from the high interest rates on savings rather than the money just sitting in the current account doing nothing while waiting for PPR after more than 2 years and with me not able to use it.

This new joint account is a savings account in a different bank (credit union) from the initial bank/account (which is the current account I earlier mentioned) I had used to show POF for myself when I submitted the required documents for my PR application.

1. Do you think it’s going to be problematic if I show just this new joint savings account? I honestly have waited years to get a PPR and I want to do everything to avoid any unnecessary delays.

2. I am thinking of making a bank transaction history and bank statement of the joint savings account then transferring the money back into the current account I used to show POF when submitting my PR application initially. I would then make a bank statement of this current account and attach alongside an affidavit like LOE. Is this sensible?

3. Is it an issue if this joint savings account is in a Credit Union account?

4. Or am I just overthinking the whole issue? Perhaps I could just submit the bank statement and 6 months transactions history of this new joint savings account?

1) more question, i am attaching extra sheet as there is not much space left in schedule A. I have written everything in available space but due to character limit everything doesn't fit it. So i have written the same thing in different sheet as well.
Do i need to write LoE for it???
2) in mothers family name by birth it will be maiden's name right? I dont have any proof for it because my mum has changed her name post marriage.
