As per the information you have, CSIS has completed its involvement, if any. As regards, CBSA, can you confirm that Activity 1 is the most recent one? and what os the date of the activity 3, received by CBSA.

Usually it takes an average of 120 days as per the security screening manual. Also, once the report from CBSA is sent, it will be revised by IRCC and updated accordingly, which may take a few days.

Once you have the dates you can compute when the report was sent to IRCC.

Thanks for your reply. the dates are blanked out in the activity section. Activity 1 is the most recent which has a status of favourable. @legalfalcon

That sucks that the dates are redacted. The only way to figure this out is to call IRCC and ask if they have receive the report from cBSA, and if so, on what date. If they have received, you should also ask, if it has been reviewed and update.

However, given that the CBSA has made a favourable decision, most likely your security screening report should have been sen by now, and it should be updated soon, if not done already.

Thanks a lot @legalfalcon. Yours words gave me hope. The worst part is my file is being processed outside Canada so can't access to application details through phone call to IRCC. I will stay hopeful and patient for the best day to come. Once again thanks a lot for your help and support.

Depending on which office your application is being processed at, you can send a office specific webform to that office.

Hi @legalfalcon
What does GCMS note “PNP A11.2 met-ready for security “ mean? Everything passed , info sharing under process and security not started.
PNP is Provincial nomination, and AA11.2 is the eligibility which is met and your application is ready fir security screening.

To read ons scurry screening, see https://bit.ly/3apWglN

You can move to any part of Canada except Quebec?

@legalfalcon is it possible for someone to pass eligibility, security and criminality and still get denied ppr
In theory yes, but very very rare. After all stages are passed, and until the applicant lands in Canada, between that time if they commit a crime, which would make them inadmissible, that is one reason.

Also, other factors which may come to light before IRCC that make a person inadmissible can also lead to refusal.

Finally, even if a person attains PR status, has been in Canada for a few years, but if it is found that they attend the PR status by fraud / misrepresentation, the PR status can be revoked and the person can be deported.

Hi @legalfalcon
I have a quick question.
I have been granted in 2019 with a 1 Year working holiday visa for Australia, but I wasn't able to use it because of the pandemic. Now the visa is expired.
My question is: should I inform ircc about this non-used visa in my EE application? should I upload documents about that?

Thank you!

In the application you will be asked if you have applied to IRCC before, and that is where you will answer yes. However, there is no specific requirement to inform or upload nay documents that you were issued a visa, but you never travelled on it.

Thanks a lot for your response. Do you foresee any complications if I end up moving to Ontario ??
If you applied under CEC / FSW, you can reside in any part of Canada, except Quebec.

If you applied under PNP, then too you can reside anywhere in Canada, except Quebec, however after your PNP application is approved, you have Provincial residency obligations. See https://bit.ly/3vdTAQl

Just received this mail in response to webform raised couple weeks ago . It says security and criminality are valid, does it mean it is passed ? Also the second point says responsible officer reviewed the eligibility requirements? What does that mean ? Any ideas ?
@frq1890 ,Did u raise webform to NDVO?
