YEs, you can. If you have applied for a PR card, the same will be shipped to the Canadian address you provide. One you receive it, you can get it back to India through a friend or ship it. When you ship it, make sure it has all the documentation, since if it is confiscated by CBSA, you will have to get it released.Thank you for the reply.
This might be a stupid question but Can I get the pr card mailed to my Canadian address while in India? And then if a friend brings it to me to India, Can I land on that pr card?
Thanks a lot sir @legalfalconYes, that is fine and no need to be worried!
Thanks for this valuable info. So if I understood correctly, I can travel after PR Visa date as if I have already landed in Canada. All I need is to obtain a PRTD.If you do not have a PR card, or if one is not available before you travel back to your home country, to travel back you will have to apply for a Permanent resident travel document (PRTD) from the country you are in to travel back.

Wow I had exact same issues NOC 2174 and NOC 2147, both NOC codes are so similar. What I did was setup a meeting with my manager and asked him which NOC code my job duties would match more with, and then ultimately one had 7 matches as opposed to another with 5 matches so we went with NOC code with higher matches. I guess try talking with your manager and / or HR to sort this out.Just cross posting my question here instead of a separate thread:
So I applied for EE in August and under NOC 2174. Now I'll admit at the time of applying, I was in two minds as to whether to use 2174 (Computer Programmers and Interactive Developer) or 2147 (Computer Engineer).
In my job letter my title is "Software Developer". However, the description provided could go either way. I stuck with 2174, because on the NOC page, it uses "Software Developer" as an example.
This is my job description.
Employees design and develop products, processes, software systems, or scientific applications which require the use of broad software engineering knowledge and experience to develop solutions for complex systems. Systems can include operating systems/architecture, application software, and user interfaces in high level programming languages. Software developers are typically involved in strategic design/development projects. Product objectives and specifications are developed from customer research.
I just read it again and now I'm worried that I'll get rejected because of this, even my job reference letter has all the required information that is needed. Any advice is appreciated! I know I can't do anything now, but atleast if I know I'm going to get rejected this time, it will give me a bit of peace of mind and I'll start gathering the documents for the second time so I can apply.
Thanks!

Hi @legalfalconYEs, that will suffice. Although email address is not mandatory, but almost all employers now hav it. If your employer does not provide one, no need to worry, just include the email you received and explain it in LoE.
YEs, unless you are divorced, you will have to declare and list all information pertaining to your spouse, including your spouse's documents for medicals, PCC, and passport even if your spouse is not accompanying. If you are unable to obtain these documents, you can explain in LoE and include the divorce petition to substantiate your explanation.Hi @legalfalcon
I am getting divorced from my husband and is separated. In my family information, should I add spouse name since we are not divorced yet?
Yes, that is fine. You can add the benefits in LoE and give a brief explanation that the employer's policy doe snot allow them to disclose the benefits given to employees, however, the benefits included .....Hi @legalfalcon
Thanks for the response. I have one more question. My other employer did not mention salary benefits just claimed "annual salary of xxxx". Is it ok to not mention benefits? I spoke with my previous employer but they are not willing to add as the company policy doesn't allow them.
Looking forward to hearing from you
Thanks
Dear @legalfalcon,
10 days ago I received a proof of status ADR. I assumed that meant that my security BGC has started and that my eligibility has been passed. 2 days ago, I logged into my IRCC account and my Medical passed date has been changed to Dec 15th. Is it justified to assume that my application is approved and PPR is coming?
my AOR is Sep 11th 2020, so it is early into my timeline.
my LVO is Abu Dhabi VO.
thank you
