Thanks @Reykhan . That’s unfortunate that it is taking so long. Did u have any review required on your eligibility? Also since u said info sharing took long in your case any idea what delayed it? What a crappy process!
Nah bud. Everything was smooth except that info sharing delay. I don't know what caused it either because I only found out through my GCMS notes. It had delayed written in front of its activity. I passed my eligibility without any reviews as soon as the case analyst opened my file in December last year. But it was never sent for security due to the delay in my info sharing results. Hence, the long wait goes on and hoping every passing day that it gets finalised as soon as.

Hi legalfalcon

I would like to know if my notes say that my spouse info sharing is incomplete/ready to be asssed and it’s says the partner: USA then the Info sharing process is with USA or any other country as well.

Separately, since canada has data sharing mou

with five countries new Zealand, Uk etc. Does these country share data with canada automatically as US does with canada or only when canada suspects something then canada ask any of these countries to share data.

My spouse has never been to USA, or applied for USA.

Looking forward to hear from you,

Thnx n reds jasleen kaur
Canada shares its data with all partner countries which includes US, NZ, Australia, UK etc. Out of these US is of most importance since when you get a PR status, you also get certain privileges to enter US, eg, you are eligible to apply for visitor's visa, which is easily granted, other border crossing programs. This why info is always shared.

Dear @legalfalcon something weird happened. I called the call centre to check my status and it says based on the information I provided, they are unable to find my application. This is the automated IVR. I have submitted the passport bio page, height and eye color to my agent, who has confirmed that they have uploaded these documents to my profile. My application was also changed to IP2. Is this normal or maybe some technical glitch at their end?
If your application has been transferred to the LVO, then the IRCC call centre may not have information available about your application. So if your MyCIC status is fine, you are good.

If you want to be absolutely sure, you can request GCMS notes, and that will have all the information about your application, including if the information you dispatched has been added to your file.

@legalfalcon
Hi

I got my gcms notes on August 26,2018
File received- November 10, 2017
Stream- PNP SK Paper based inland applicant
Eligibilty- Passed
Criminality Passed
Status changed date June 6, 2018
Medical- Passed on May 28, 2018
Security- Not Started
However paper file location: Ready for Ps since June 11, 2018
All the security pages has a S.21 on top right hand corner.
My question is pretty simple..should i expect a PPR soon cz security is underway since June 11, 2018? Or my security has not been started yet?
I odered another set of notes on August 29..which i will get in few days

My work permit is about to expire in november and my employer is no ready to extend it to closed he told me i will be on implied and can work..but i am really stressed so..if you can guide me that will be good..

Thanks..
Security is the most unpredictable stage in the EE PR processing. No one can estimate when it will be done. CBSA and CSIS are both involved in the security screening. Usually the file is sent to CSIS, which complete its report and sends it to CBSA. CBSA then does the security screening and complies a final report and sends it to IRCC.

It is CBSA where the delays happen.
If you want to know, you can request CBSA / CSIS notes and see if they have completed involvement in your file.

As regards s21.

The head of a government institution may refuse to disclose any personal information requested under subsection 12(1) the disclosure of which could reasonably be expected to be injurious to the conduct of international affairs, the defence of Canada or any state allied or associated with Canada, as defined in subsection 15(2) of the Access to Information Act, or the efforts of Canada toward detecting, preventing or suppressing subversive or hostile activities, as defined in subsection 15(2) of the Access to Information Act, including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing, any such information listed in paragraphs 15(1)(a) to (i) of the Access to Information Act.

Hi Legalfalcon

I was told by the call agent that my application was approved on 20th however i have not received the ppr and i was once told mail sent then when i called again as I didn't get any mail i was told that no ppr mail sent is this normal???should I do something??

Thank you kindly in advance
After your application is approved, the PPRs are sent in batches, so there may be a delays of 1-2 weeks. However, if the email has been sent and you have not received it, send a CSE and ask.

Yes @legalfalcon. I have sent emails/raised CSE's but to no avail. I get a standard response that it is under process. It has been 8 months since AOR. And i have review required for settlement funds. Do review required people remain stuck like this especially at NDVO?

Is there anything different that I should do?
NDVO is painfully slow. Review required simply means that and officer has to review your file before clearing it.

You can request GCMS notes. Sometimes they help in pushing the file as before the GCMS notes are released, and officer has to review them, and he may just move your file since he has your file opened. This does not happen in all cases, but in files where there is something to be added, reviewed, which is not too time consuming, they do move after GCMS notes are requested.

Hi @legalfalcon

My file has been with CBSA since March this year for security. But when I ordered CSIS notes in June this year, they came back as blank saying that they never received the SS request on my file. Do you roughly have any clues on how long does CBSA takes to conclude security, considering it's been more than 16 months since my AOR.

Also, when I rang the IRCC helpline back in May, I was told by the agent that my file will be finalised by the end of summer / early autumn. Not sure how much truth was in that.

Many thanks in advance.
CBSA is unpredictable. Some files do not go to CSIS or may not have been sent to CSIS, that is what your CSIS report came blank. The best deal would be to request CBSA notes, they have the entire history and will help you know what is going on.

Hi Dear Legal Falcon,
I had raised two CSE's.
One with an Updated LOE from my Employer for Which my GCMS Notes stated another NOC wherein the employer has mentioned all my duties relevant to my NOC.Also as you said that if the present LOE must have job duties listed relevant to my NOC then there will be no problem, so....it does have relevant duties ...
and another about my spouse's ECA.
They have accepted/replied to my wife's ECA but have not confirmed the receipt of the updated LOE.
Please suggest as to what should be done!
Thanks
The best would be to request GCMS notes and see what is happening. All your questions will be answered there. Anything outside GCMS is just speculation.

Thank you legalfalcon for quick response. Just one more thing about the error which the Doctor's office made on my emedical form. They already sent email to IRCC medical team to get it rectified. Should I upload the same emedical document with incorrect passport issue date and attach the email which doctor's office sent me
Yes, you can go ahead. Since they the physician's office has sent the email, you can go ahead and by the time your medicals are added to your file, the rectification will have been done. Just make sure that you explain it in LoE.
