@legalfalcon, Thank you very much for the explanation. Both my spouse and I had studied in the US for a couple of years. My another question is I ordered CSIS report for myself (the main applicant) through getcsms. Should I order another separate CSIS report for my spouse? HOw can we know if we are under enhanced SS?
Ordering CSIS report and CBSA report does not help much. If you still want to know if CSIS has concluded their involvement, you can go ahead an order it.
When was your R10 passed?
The 6 months processing time starts from the day your R10 is passed and not when you received the AoR.
For the US applicants, the processing take a little longer. So you may see processing times of 8-9 months, which is not unusual. This is because of the information sharing.
As regards the enhanced security, I do not see a reason why you would be, unless you fit in a typical case, which will depend on your country of origin, your past military and government service etc.
