Thank you

I just got off the phone from cic,
She said my application is almost done.
Just waiting for security n evrything else pass. N it will take time upto month so if i dont hear back from them by end of november then call them again
And when i ask about eligibilty then she said once security done by that time my eligibility also done. So what do you think about her comment my status of application ? Just worried as she doesnt gave clear answer about eligiblity but she said that my file almost done n i am in last stage of security.

Thank you once again.
This is what you get when you call. That is why you should go on hardcore evidence and see what your GCMS notes say. alternatively, you can wait it out and see how it goes.

@legalfalcon How advisable is it to change jobs after AOR but before getting PPR? Do I need to inform IRCC if I do? The documents submitted to IRCC during eAPR submission were true at the time but would of course no longer be valid once/if I change my job.

Note: these are all jobs in India and thus no direct points were awarded to me based on them. They just counted towards my experience.

You can change jobs and there is nothing stopping you. You should inform IRCC, just to make sure that in case if they verify, they will know that you no longer work at location you mentioned in the application. Your documents should only be valid on the day the e!PR is file.

Thanks for your reply. As far as I know, CAQ is for studies as well as Temporary foreign workers who wish to come to Quebec for either purpose. Please see link below.

https://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/temporary-workers/obtaining-authorizations/worker-high-wage/index.html

However, my question was slightly different. I just wanted to know if I can still pursue express entry even after obtaining all the necessary approvals from Quebec? I have scanned various thread regarding this and it seems, many people have done this before but I'm not sure if this will jeopardise my citizenship down the road.

You can pursue, however to file an EE, you cannot clim to live in Quebec, without getting nomination from Quebec. To understand it better you can read the case of Dhaliwal v. Canada https://www.canlii.org/en/ca/fct/doc/2016/2016fc131/2016fc131.html

Hi @legalfalcon
I would apprecaite your comments on the following myths:
Cic Account updating after gcms notes request!
Process slowing down after the notes request !

GCMS notes have no relevance on the processing. However, in some case as before GCMS notes are issued, an agent will review the file. If there is some update pending, it will be added to the file and you will see a movement.

However, there are no delays just because someone requested GCMS notes.

Hello @legalfalcon
I hope you are doing well sir.

My current background is "We are processing........if we need more info". My file is in New Delhi and AOR is April 1, 2017. No major concerns in GCMS note (as far as I can understand) only review required for the relative in Canada. Recently I mailed Ottawa and was told that a final decision has been made on 16th Oct. This is the date my background changed from not applicable (NA2) to we are processing. Its more than two weeks now and I haven't heard anything from them. This decision made is bugging me a lot as I don't know what the decision is. From your prior experience and my case explained above, what may be the probable decision?

Furthermore, many people whose background changed on 22nd August were told that their file is approved but they too haven't received PPR yet. What do you think is holding NDVO in sending PPR mails?

Thanking you.
I cannot predict, but many applicants have stated that even after their application has been approved, they are not receiving PRR. This is because PPRs are issued on batches. Also, as its the year end, there will be processing delays and quotas. There are multitude of factors. If you are concerned about your file, better get your GCMS notes and see if your Eligibility is cleared. If it is, then there is no need to worry.

@legalfalcon can you please tell me what PACE means in my GCSM notes? I am PNP PR inland applicant and now 3 months already gone after medical. When can I expect the PPR? Thanks please let me know.
You will have to provide the note where it appears. I cannot answer in abstract.

Hey, um I had a question regarding my Education History. I have read too many threads on this which have only confused me more. So before getting my ITA, I did not mention any High school education. I am only claiming points for my Bachelors which was done here in Canada. Do I need to include my High School background now after getting the ITA? Maybe in Personal History perhaps (since no documents are required for that category)? Ps, I turned 18 in Canada only while I was doing my undergrad here. Could you please comment on this?
For ECA you only need to provide post secondary qualifications.
For personal history either last 10 years or since age 18, which ever is earlier.

Hi,

Will the dependent PR visa be stamped before the PA? Provided that PA and dependent are at different locations and LVOs?
Stamping has no order, however, landing does. PA has to land before or together with the dependents. dependents cannot land before PA.

My spouse did not write studio/name or DOB on the back of his photos and already submitted his passport and it's been since Oct 4th with no update back! Problem is we are trying to meet hopefully in Canada for Thanksgiving and we have no other way to meet for a year me if we miss this four days window for visa/work issues but no idea How given all of this expected delay

My Q is what is the best way to try to speed up things if any!
Should we send new photos before getting a request? Should we wait and risk to be delayed

Ahhhhh nothing goes the way it's planned!
Very frustrated!

Help please?
Usually IRCC will not speed up the process. However, you can raise CSE and write emails and see if they may accommodate your request.

Respected Members and @legalfalcon .....PLS HELP

I received my 1st PPR mail dated July 14th asking for the submission of passports through VFS. We did so along with the passport of my newly born son on July 17th at VFS Bangalore. Later on the required documents of my son were also uploaded through the online portal and he was issued UCI number after 3 months.

On Oct 26th we received another PPR mail asking to submit our passports which is in fact already submitted through VFS Bangalore and is being shown as per VFS website as being processed at NDVO. AS suggested by VFS, I enquired with New Delhi High Commission regarding our case thru the general enquiry email and next day itself got a reply saying that ours is a file number which refers to a case at the Consulate General of Canada in Bangalore and as advised I raised a CSE through web form directed to Bangalore office.

The very next day I got a reply from Bangalore office that the file number provided refers to a case at the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi and they also asked me to raise a CSE to NDVO which I did. I haven’t heard from NDVO since. All 3 passports are already submitted through VFS and is shown as being processed at New Delhi office from VFS website. What do I do??? Do I have to go to VFS just to submit the 2nd PPR mail so that I get the stamped passports back rather than both the Visa offices directing me to the other??? PLS HELP….
