Yes, this would work. No need to show house. Get a gift deed from your father, and in the LoE mention that the money came from the sale of gold.

This is an issue with MyCIC as it does not list. However, it will not matter in which order your upload as all documents will be evaluated.

No, there is no requirement for that as when you upload any file, IRCC has its own naming system, irrespective of how you name it.

Hello legalfalcon, should raise a CSE for this? I submitted HR job reference letter (issued by current HR of ex company) and ex-HR acknowledgment letter of my resignation when I resigned back in 2012).

However because it's been 5 years old HR had quitted and current HR is different person, so names of hr manager on two letters are different. I didn't explain in my LOE as I thought it's obvious (it's been 5 years and people come and go). Do u think I should raise CSE explaining why there are two HR managers?

No need for CSE as the dates on the letter will be self evident.

Hi legalfalcon, i have received my PPR and need to submit our passports to NDVO, do you have any idea how much time they would take to return the same as we have pre booked tickets for august 1 ( we had work permits on which we were travelling)? Is there any way we could expedite the same i.e. any email id or so and explaining our position.

We dont want to send them to Ottawa as in a new country without passports may be a problem in getting rented accomodation or school.

Further, what are the next steps after PPR and what do we need for landing?

Congratulations on getting the PPR. Usually the turn around time is 2-3 weeks after the passports reach the embassy. If you are travelling to Canada on work permit, then you would be cutting in to close and I highly doubt that by them your passports will be back. You can request for an expedited service by sending an email to the id mentioned in your PPR email, but nothing is guaranteed. < DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca>

However, a better approach for you would be to request to change your LVO from NDVO to Ottawa. You can travel to Canada as scheduled on August 1, and by that time the LVO would have been changed. You can then send your passports to Ottawa and do your landing in Canada.

Any change is a sign of movement and is positive. However, to figure out what is happening just by the MyCIC status is impossible. If you have passed your medicals and your BGC status changed, then most likely you have passed R10, criminality and your eligibility should have started, or be about to start.
