Yes, you can as long as they are under NOC skill type 0, A or B.

I called CIC today and the agent told me that my background check is completed ( passed) and the file has been verified
And ready for a final review by an officer and I should hear from them until February 15th.
Medical has been extended. Does it take so long for an officer to make decision ?
Month and a half?

You can change that, no trouble.

Thanks so much Asivad!!

Can I get your advice on two matters?

1. I am currently on Working Holiday visa, so it's open work permit.
I was scanning my visa for the APR, and noticed that on my visa Employer and Occupation states as OPEN, but Employment Location states TORONTO.
As far as I know I can work anywhere under Working Holiday, but I am not sure why it states Toronto!! :S
I am especially worried because my office is going to relocate to another city (but still in Ontario) very soon.

2. in terms of my company moving to another city, I think my employment letter can explain that currently it's in toronto but expected to relocate, and put the new address and get it signed by my supervisor, right?
I wouldnt be able to know the exact date of relocation, but I can give a rough time... hope that's enough as long as I provide the new address...

Thank you!!!!

Dear Asivad Anac,

I have just submitted my docs and received confirmation from IRCC.

Who can apply for an open work permit?
You may be eligible for an open work permit if you are in one of the following situations:

Permanent residence applicants who have applied to an office in Canada,
Dependent family members of some permanent residence applicants, - My wife is eligible for this criteria
Spouses and common-law partners of some workers and international students, - My wife is eligible for this criteria
Refugees, refugee claimants, protected persons and their family members,
Some temporary resident permit holders, or
Some young workers participating in special programs.
In each of these situations, you must meet additional criteria to be eligible.

Today I am returning to Canada and planning to apply the work permit for my wife. Do I need to provide my wife's PGWP scanned copy along with the passport for the SOWP?

Required documents - Application to Change Conditions, Extend my Stay or Remain in Canada as a Worker (IMM5710) (required)

There is a optional document named "Schedule 1 - Application for a Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada (IMM 5257)". Do I need to submit this form?

Dear Sir Asivad,

I applied for a Canadian PR through express entry - skilled worker on March 8, 2016 and received the PPR (Passport Request) on December 28, 2016. We renewed our passports 10 days ago but due to some personal issues we couldn't manage to send the copies of the new ones to CPC - Ottawa before the PPR. My question is what should I do at this stage? Can I send our new passports to have them stamped? And should I attach the copies of our old passports to the new ones?

Thank you in advance!

And Happy new year.

Dear ASivad and other senior members

Could you please advise how long does it take to complete the R10 completeness check after submitting eAPR . And do we receive email or any type of notification that says your file has completed initial completeness check .

Dear Member, I have a Question regarding outside his/her country of origin or of residence in the last ten years.

I am originally from Pakistan but came to Canada in January 2015 on study permit and now on PGWP. I visited Pakistan twice in July 2015 and November 2015.

1. When filling out the travel history shall I include my original travel from Pakistan to Canada which is from 1st Jan 2015 till today?
2. Shall I mention the two trips I made back to Pakistan in my travel history or not?

Yes, in travel history you can say like:
Jan-Jul 2015 Canada
Jul-Jul 2015 Pakistan
Jul-Nov 2015 Canada
Nov-Nov 2015 Pakistan

To be safe, I would mention ALL trips in your travel history.

Happy new year Asivad.
I do not have travel history. Never ever travelled outside India. Therefore, uploaded only bio pages of passport. rest entire passport is blank. Is it good to go or should I raise CSE for this attaching all the pages of passport. My understanding says it is not reqd. Plz correct me if I am wrong
