Hi

Can i ask for extension of 2 months for landing in canada.
Please let me know if it is possible then how

Hi Asivad. I am unable to get ref letter from one of my previous employer. I was a contract employee there ( on third party payroll). If I provide NOTARISED SELF DECLARATION in lieu of this along with supporting docs, will it be considered. I am planning to apply for Sasketchwan pnp EE Fsw category. Thanks in advance.

Unless there is a very compelling reason (illness/death of family etc <<God Forbid>>) as to why you cannot land before your current medicals expire, your extension request might not be entertained.

There's no timeline as such but if it's always best to inform them ASAP. Use the change of personal information form. Submit your marriage certificate and send them an email - ontarionominee@ontario.ca .

Adding on to what Raj has mentioned, you need to do the following
- Update EE profile, number of accompanying members, passport details of spouse, updated amount in the funds section
- You need to send Change of Personal Information Form along with copy of marriage certificate, copy of spouse's passport personal details pages and updated POF

OINP must be notified if there are any changes to your personal information or circumstances as detailed on your Nominee Application Form. You must complete the Change of Personal Information Form. This form can be downloaded from the OINP website http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPFORMS.html. Completed forms should be submitted to OINP by mail, fax or email attachment. Additionally, you will have to update your Express Entry profile as well.

You can email it to ontarionominee@ontario.ca and expressentry@ontario.ca

Hi friends,

I just realized I failed to update my EE profile with new job and also that I made an error in a not so important field .
I have received the ITA already and I am certain my new job and the experience that comes with it does not change my CRS points or my eligibility criteria.

Can you please advise how I go about it now>
1) Simply add the job in personal history (since I will not be getting additional points and don't wish to claim it) and make correction to the other field in PR application.
2) Do number 1 and also explain that these changes are made in LoE.
3) Decline the ITA and update the profile. (Hope this is not the way out!! Really short of time here).

Thanks!

Include the job in the personal history section alone (in e-APR). Do not include it in the work history section in e-APR. This way, you wouldn't have to submit any documents for that job!!

On second thought, I do have required documents for my second job. This is an experience of 6 months , thats why I said it does not change the CRS points as its < 1 year.

Not sure it would give any added leverage to add this experience to my work history. My work history profile would then look like :
1) 1+ year outside canada experience (NOC : 2174)
2) 6 months within canada experience (NOC : 2171)

Also, not sure if its acceptable to make changes directly in the application for PR and not in the EE profile. Ideally I should have updated the prfoile since I received the ITA while I was working second job.
