Dear Seniors,

I have 1-year experience in NOC 2133 and 2 years in NOC 1225 does this qualify to 3 full years ? or only 1 year ?
When it comes to total work experience, it would be 3 years in your case.

You can use NOC 1225 as your primary NOC as you have 2 years experience in that NOC.

You do not have to mention 3 years in your Express Entry profile, you just have to mention the dates for your each NOC and the system will calculate the time and allot you points accordingly.

If you are referring to the CRS score calculator, then yes, you can enter 3 years.

Hello Asivad and other senior members here,

I have quite a unique situation I hope someone can enlighten me about. I got my PR visa last July thanks be to God.

Now I plan to land in Canada around November. After a month or so, I plan to visit Italy. After a month or so in Italy, I plan to go back to Canada to permanently reside there.
I'm aware of the other way which is to go to Italy first then Canada. But I have personal reasons why I want to go to Canada first.

I’ve been informed that I cannot re-enter Canada without the PR card which will take 8-12 weeks to be mailed to me from the time I land in Canada. The issue is that I cannot wait in Italy for that long until the PR card is released just so I can use it to re-enter Canada.

At the moment, I hold dual citizenship status. One with my current country of residence, and the other is Italian citizenship. Since I have an Italian passport, I should not need a tourist visa to enter Canada and only an eTA which is easy to get.
As a workaround to re-enter Canada without the PR card, can I use my Italian passport instead to re-enter Canada as a tourist? After entering, I will wait for my PR card to be mailed to my address in Canada.

Seems this is quite technical hence I hope someone can enlighten me on this query. Thank you very much in advance!

If you do not have a PR Card and you want to travel outside Canada, then you need to apply for Permanent Resident Travel Document (PRTD). Check this link to know more about PRTD http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/travel-document/

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi all respected forum members,

Yesterday i raised a CSE to London VO regarding my promotion on job and change of my designation from Asst. Manager to Manager. I submitted following documents in a single pdf file along with the message.

1) LOE regarding promotion
2) copy of promotion order.
3) scan of new employee i.d card showing new designation.
4) after promotion payslips showing new payscale and designation etc..

i got the message that i've successfully uploaded and submitted everything and they will reply me if they wish to ... but surprisingly, within 20 hours i got a new message in mycic account [ of new document request ] stating to upload the documents related to my promotion. The message says :

Employment records: Please provide the updated employment documents that relate to your promotion. This must be received at this office by: 2016/08/22

I dont know why is this so ? do they need something else from me ?
It has been 3 months since my promotion and assumption of charge of new post ... Do i need to submit a new employer reference letter also for this new designation and 03 months duration ? i feel confused .... plz help.

regards,
M.zeeshan

Hello everyone,

I have send my documents for OINP in February and still waiting for AOR. Am I allowed to apply for Quebec Skilled Worker Program in the meantime? Can somebody enlighten me on this?

(It is taking such a long time to receive an AOR from Ontario it seems...)

As long as Quebec does not have any restrictions on you applying to other provinces simultaneously, you are good.

You can upload the same documents which you submitted via CSE.

Hi Asivad,

Please help me with my process notes I am really freaking out!!! I am CEC-Inland, married, AOR 03/17/2016, and I set my wife as not accompanying because our visa was about to expire and we didn't got the points together. Now I got my application notes and seems like the officer added my wife as accompanying and recalculated my CRS. Here are my notes transcriptions;

NOTES 2 (05/14/2016)
It appears AAAAAAAA had been disassociated (reason: duplicated) but left as accompanying; and BBBBBBBB set as non-accompanying. I have set the latter as accompanying, therefore there are now 2 potential visas in the application

The UCI listed as BBBBBBBB is my wife's real UCI, but AAAAAAAA I have no idea what is it. Do you think I should send a letter explaining that my wife is not accompanying me?
Please help me!
