I am trying to assess my masters degree through this WES link:

But i couldn't locate my institute in the list provided in this tool for India.

Does it means WES will not be able to assess my masters as my Institute is not present in the WES list of Indian Institutes and sending them documents and paying money will go in vain?

Hi Patica,

A US visa is not required for flag-poling. From my understanding, when you get to the border you will let the officials know that you are flag-poling. They will issue you a refusal document and you will return to the Canadian border building to complete your landing.

1. Does this mean that my application for PR has been approved ? Yes.
2. Is this for the final Visa stamping ? Yes.

Hi

My AOR date is 19th Sept, hopefully this week or next week I should get PPR.
However, I have a question -

my wife is travelling to India for next two months. And I have a plan to travel after one month too for one month.
What should I do if I will get PPR in that time ?

should I change her stamping office to India or I should get her Passport through courier ?
Or, should I request cic to wait for two months ?

is anybody here having similar situation ?

What will be the convenient way for this situation.

If you receive PPR while your spouse is in India and you are in Canada, send a CSE requesting permission to allow your spouse to submit their passport to NDVO via VFS. Remember to not send your passport to CPC Ottawa until IRCC replies to your CSE accepting your request for your spouse to submit their passport locally in India. Expect that response within 2-7 days.

If both of you are in India, send a CSE asking for the same support for both of you. TAT would still be 2-7 days.

I received Ontario PT Notification on Jan 11, 7 PM (IST). So I think Feb 24th is the day when my application should reach their office, if I am applying.
The problem is, I haven't been able to manage the funds yet. Most probably, my father might deposit it by 21st or 22nd Feb (he is borrowing from a relative).

1. Should I take the risk to send the application on 22nd?
2. Do you suggest withdrawing the profile, and recreating it after a few days? What are the chances that I get PT Notification once again?

I am very saddened that I am close to losing this opportunity. Please share your valuable advise. TIA

Though others have reported receiving a 2nd PT, I won't take that for granted. Find out from the courier guys about the fastest possible delivery time to Ontario and take a call according to that information. Whatever time they commit, you can safely factor in time difference which can add up to 18 hours depending on your location.

If you're cutting it too close, don't bother sending in the application as it will be ignored if received after business hours (say 4 PM EST on 24th Feb, Ottawa time).

While you're doing this, simultaneously create a fresh GCKey today itself and then another EE profile to see if you get another OINP invite.

To speed up the documentation, we decided to get PCC for India and Singapore done from Singapore for me and my spouse.
For that she came to Singapore. Now the queries are:

1. Her Singapore PCC has end date as 3rd Feb 2016 whereas she travelled back to India on 12th Feb 2016.
Will CIC raise any concern on the last day since she was in Singapore till 12th Feb.

2. Is there any concern CIC can raise on India PCC, as she again travelled back to India and which is her current residence?

9 days shouldn't be a problem but you never know with IRCC. Recommend that you get a fresh Singapore PCC for her.

Yes. If she is currently in India, ask her to apply for a PCC again.

I was on a 3 month vacation outside my country of residence, in address history I missed to indicate that and submitted my e-application for EE and received AOR. I did mentioned about my vacation in Personal History/Travel History. I only missed to indicate the address history in contact details section

Will this be an issue?

I'm in the process of PR (timeline in signature). However, I'm sort of in urgent need of OHIP, becuase health providers are sort of jerks in accepting any insurance other than OHIP.

As per OHIP eligibility conditions, one of the conditions is "you have submitted an application for permanent residence in Canada, and Citizenship and Immigration Canada has confirmed that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent residence in Canada"

I was wondering how this path to OHIP might works for EE! because we are never told if we met eligibility requirements. In my latest GCMS notes, the most relevant review is:




Question 1)
Can I sell this to service ontario to get OHIP?

Question 2)
How many more reviews do I get before PPR?! Is there another eligibility review or the one above is it?
