hello guys...

I have 1 query... i am preparing for SINP but my immigration consultant says I need to provide Proof of Funds. For 3 members family, I need to show around CAD 18000 and it should be minimum 3 months old. I have these funds but its not 3 months old. So can i show proof of funds with current date and keep it intact till end of process ?? is it valid ??

i really appreciate if someone will give me guidance on this...

I have not applied to SINP but I people who have applied have told me that they are very strict about the 3 month old fund requirement. So, IMO, I guess you can wait till your funds are 3 months old and then lodge an application.

As for your PR application, if your funds are not 6 months old, you might be asked source of funds. You can either submit a gift deed OR you can provide them with a receipt of sale (to prove that the money came from selling property/vehicle/jewellery).

Sent it through CSE too
CSE needs a file size of 2MB and total should not exceed 3.5MB
but my file size was 3.2MB

Therefore, I have to split it in 3 files.

1) Letter of Explanation
2) Schedule - A
3) Supplementary Infomation -- Your Travel

Is there any harm if there Letter of Explanation is in a different file?

Why not just a compressed PDF?

In my Personal and Work Experience section in OINP application, I have more work experience shown than on my EE profile. Is that going to be an issue?

Hi all,

I am a foreign national and completed my Bsc in Kolkata, India from 2002-2005. Currently I am living in my home country and getting prepared to go to India for getting my pcc. Can anybody suggest what are the steps of acquiring PCC from India for an x-foreign student? should I go to local police station or passport seva kendro? Is there any process which I can start online before leaving for India so that it takes less time?

That appears to be a practical resolution - explain your reasoning in the LOE.
Thanks a lot Asivad! You have no idea how thankful i am to your help !
I actually have one more question hope you don't mind to shred some light on:

When submitting my eAPR, in travel history, I list all my trips based on all the passport stamps i have. Problem is when I mentioned I traveled back to Hong Kong in 2014 July 10 - August 4, I did not mentioned that I took a trip between July 24 to August 2 to Taiwan for Tourism.Since my Taiwan Trip does not have Passport Stamp, i didn't recorded it, and just wrote that i went to Hong Kong throughout July 24-Aug 4.

When providing Travel History, do we only need to mention trips that have Passport Stamps?

I am now worried as I am not sure if I am misrepresenting myself - should I send a CSE to add my travel detail about Taiwan? Note that I submitted my application on Dec 31 2015, and been request for Police Certificate and Schedule 4/4A but never been requested schedule A...

Your advice would be greatly appreciated!

This is what I did when I submitted my 'Passport' information. I went overboard to be safe rather then sorry:

1) Copy of bio-metric page of current passport (covering the last 5 years)
2) Copy of Every Entry and Exit Visa stamp
3) Copy of previous Passport (Covering the 5 years prior to the last 5 years)
4) Copy of Every Entry & Exit stamp in Previous passport
5) List of every country issuing 'Entry' but not 'Exit' stamps
6) List of every country not issuing 'Entry' stamps - in my case all in Europe
7) List of detailed Itinerary in every country I visited
8) Index on the first page prior to all of the listed data with hyperlinks to the information and page number references

Hope this helps in some way. As I say this may not have been needed, but I don't want to take any chances.

Honestly don't know why the number (8) comes as a Smiley face.

Thanks JoacRy, that is extensive indeed.
But now I have already submitted my eAPR, I either could submit a CSE to add this information or sit tight. My dilemma is that I am not sure if submitting this CSE will bring more harm than help to my application (what if the CIC really doesn't care about trips that don't have a passport stamp :(??)

You have to remember that CIC reserves the right to speak to all domestic and foreign government agencies during the course of processing your PR application. Hence if they talk to a country's immigration agency and they find out there is a record of you entering and leaving that country, and you have not declared it, they will want to know why as you as you were supposed to declare all trips made to foreign countries (or Canada) within the last 10 years.

Now that you have submitted already, if I were you I would sit tight and hope I get a lenient processing officer. Be prepared to possibly answer questions if you get a strict Visa Officer who sees this as possible 'misrepresentation'.
