Dear Asivad

Need your advice. While submitting my papers after ITA, I provided PCC of my current residential address i.e. Nov. 2002 onwards (last 13 years) but one of my friend got rejection today for NOT Submitting PCC since the age of 18 years.

Do I also need to submit the PCC for all of my address since 18 years of age. Given hereunder is the detail of my stay:

DOB 05-01-1980
1998-2001 (18 yrs age) Address 1 in same city (No PCC is submitted)
2001-2002 Address 2 in same city (No PCC is submitted)
2002-till date Address 3 in same city (PCC provided for this stay)

PCC is required for all countries where the applicant has lived in for more than 6 months in a row since turning 18. You have clearly not submitted all required PCCs and there is a very real chance that your application could be refused on those grounds. Recommend that you apply for PCC (duration 1998 - 2002) and submit the same via CSE at the earliest to avoid any chances of refusal.

Presuming that you're applying from India (because there are multiple similar cases reported on the forum of late), recommend that you apply for PCC from Indian passport authorities instead of provincial police authorities. The PCC from passport authorities isn't time bound or bound to a particular address/city/province.

i want to create my profile but befor that i am trying the tool "check eligibility" to get reference number which is required to create express entry profile but it is saying you are not eligible......i don't know why it's saying i am not Eligible??
my details are - ECA- Bachelors degree(3yrs)
Ielts score= L=7.5, S=6.5, R=6.5, W=6.5, overall=7.0
marital status=single
work experience is in 2281 NOC B for 4 years
single applicant and money bring to canada more than $ 11874..
plz help seniors......

Dear Asivad,

my plan friend plan to apply in Express Entry under NOC 4112 - lawyer. Is he eligible? Law in Canada is different from Russia.

Experience gained under NOC 4112 is perfectly legitimate under EE as it is NOC A. Your friend can certainly apply under that NOC. They will have to subsequently undergo additional federal and province specific licensing formalities before they can pursue this vocation in Canada.

CIC is flooded with requests for GCMS notes so you can probably expect a week's delay beyond 30 days. If you still don't hear anything from them, check here for further steps ---> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=464&t=1

Definitely try for CLB 9 (8 in L and 7 in R/W/S). That'll help you with both eligibility and higher CRS score.

I improved my score from 446 to 457. Then came my birthday and I ended up at 452. I am in Alberta and I don't want to move. Where do I stand? No ita since Aug

The LOE regarding my work experience should be attached with the work experience letter only or should i upload it in the separate LOE field provided in the system?

Also do we need to fill out the online questions immediately or once we have all the required documents ?

Doesn't matter where you upload it. If you're uploading it along with work experience letter, ensure that you merge all documents into 1 PDF file.

Hi Asivad, I had applied for my work permit in June 2015 ( myself) and submitted my PR with all supporting on 8th Aug ( family) under express entry at same time with my LMIA, I had received my work permit in Oct 2015 already and landed in Nov 2015.

Currently my PR status shows Review of Eligibility in progress along with BG check in progress from 18th Nov.

My question is , since I got my work permit and BG is in progress, it this positive indication and can I expect in Jan my PR approval ?

452 is a competitive score. Expect an ITA in the next 2-3 months at that score.

Congratulations!

Start filling up the online application that opens up after you accept the ITA. Once you are done with that you will get the document checklist.
