Hello,

I'm am a Canadian man, I met my Thai girlfriend in the United Kingdom while on a ancestry visa, I lived and worked there 4 years. She was attending the University of Liverpool.

I came back to Canada almost 2 years ago, I have since been to Thailand last year for almost 4 months to meet her family.

I want her to come to visit me this Christmas, to meet my family, and to see Canada.
She has 3 weeks of Holidays

She has a good job, working for international Company, she has graduated University in both Thailand and in the UK. She has travelled to Japan, Korea and Switzerland as well as resided in the UK for her studies.

Still, the stories of how strict CIC is in granting TRV to young Thai women is concerning to me. I was going to write her a letter of invitation, but worried that if she puts me down as boyfriend they will just auto reject her. She has no family ties in Canada, but lots in in Thailand, Her employer will write her a letter indicating her position.

Should she just say shes a tourist or should she indicate she is visiting a boyfriend? I don't want to be honest, but worried she will get auto rejected because of me.

Any advice would be much appreciated

It is always better if you show somebody who is friend or relative in Canada but you need give all your passport pages copies to her to send the invitation if it is ok for you go ahead and invite her early
