Had my test and interview at Scarborough Office on Feb, 27th. Previously had received the Blue letter by mail for the test invite.

The test was fairly easy and I scored 20/20. Reading the Book several times and online practice tests are enough.

After the test, I was interviewed by an Officer who asked about my previous employment. travel history etc. I had self-employment in the past and had traveled extensively. During the conversation, the officer did mention that my residence calculator calculation was verified and was correct as per the CBSA history. I send application at date count > 1100.

However, the officer took copies of all pages of my new and old passports during the interview. I had previously send copies of all pages of both of my passports with the original application - so nothing new was taken anyway. I was not asked for any other document prior to the test date.

During the time I was there I observed 7 to 8 other people got interviewed and no one was handed out on the spot Oath ceremony invite.

The Officer told me that, next step is a letter will be mailed in the next 2 months.

Can anyone interpret or comment about what to expect next? I am worried about getting some kind of questionnaire to provide additional documents which will delay the process.

Hello Goodman

Can you advice if dates (lot of dates in book...) come up in test ?
Disclosing information about the question in the test is prohibited. As I have stated before, read the book - try to remember as much information as you can - do the online practice tests as much as possible (available thru Google search)

No its not prohibited. Regardless no one will gain anything from yours, they change.

You have nothing to worry about with your interview experience.

@ Can V
1) They do tell us before the test not to discuss test info with any one else as content of the test is copy righted. Even though it is an anonymous forum, still thought of maintaining the integrity. Anyway, you are right, the question differ from one set to another and even if I told all the questions, that wouldn't be much help.

2) Thank you. I sincerely hope that you are right.

I don't have the paper with me now but most likely it was the same title as your's. It just told me to appear for the test on date/ time and bring ID documents along with originals of anything I had sent with application.

Could be. It seems local office is planning it so that on certain dates only candidates with Yellow color letter appear for the test and they are given Oath letter same day if they pass the test / interview. I only saw Blue color letter in other people's hand and before I left after the interview - I didn't see anyone handed out any Pink letter - which is used for Oath invite.

Hi Goodman,

I had exactly similar encounter with the officer during my interview. He also took copy of my passports for checking them as he told me. He told me that I will her from them within 6 weeks. That was 5 weeks ago, so I am waiting to see what happens next.

I am not asking you questions; just asking if dates are asked frequently or not.
Anyways thanks for your response.

Hi Goodman!

It seems that CIC was very accurate in my case. I received my Oath letter yesterday exactly on the 6th week after test as per what the officer told me.
Good luck to all of you friends! I think your turn is coming very soon.
