It's not updated for 2019, despite what it says. The answer is 338.

Read the book first

I don't care what the book says. I've read it, and so has my wife. She is now a citizen after all. I have already told you it is NOT updated for 2019. It was printed in 2012. No sample test online is updated for 2019, either. Any test that claims it is is just after your money. The correct number of federal electoral districts is 338, and has been since the last federal election.

The book also says one of the lines of O Canada is "True patriot love in all thy sons command." That's now incorrect, too, since that line has been replaced with "in all of us command."

Then where to find the right guide of citizenship test and how come they don’t update the book , I’m having the test soon , from what I see the book contain a lot of mistakes or what

They are working on an updated version as I write this. From what I remember, the only things that are now incorrect in the current book is the number of electoral districts (308 in the book, now 338) and the lyric change of O Canada from "True patriot love in all thy sons command" to "in all of us command."

My wife used the current book to study and she wrote and passed her test on February 4. The only changes I made her aware of are above, because, again, those are the only changes I am aware of. Study from the current book and you'll be fine. Just note the two changes.

You don't have to stress out about exact number...they might give you multiple choice with answers like: more than 100 or more than 250 or more than 300 and so on....as to regarding national anthem they might ask to name it but will not ask you for the whole thing to wright down or for specific lines.

For anyone else who may have this doubt - I asked the interviewing officer about this exact thing after my test. Luckily I did not have this question on my test - and he said that even if there was old information in the book - we should answer per the book as their scantron answers are based on information in the book.

This is the answer I was looking for. Thank you! I'm writing my test tomorrow :O
