for the guys who passed the test I have got a question, how long do they give you from the time you receive the letter or ecas update to attend test session?

Hi Yolka,

Congratulations!!

If you don't mind, did the CO question you about your recent exit / entry stamp on your passport?

Kindly let me know.

Thanks,
MKJ

Yes, at the interview I was asked about my exit/entry stamps. I live abroad right now and told her about that too. She did not comment on any of that, just took notes. Oh, she also asked when I am going back, I gave her the date.

One more thing, I traveled only once (for 5 days to US) before I applied for my citizenship and also told her about that. In fact she asked if I have traveled during the three year (out of 4) of my residency.

I took my test just a few days before Yolka
Officer did not ask anything about stamps on passport.

Wow, lucky you! have you traveled outside? before/after applying for citizenship? I hope I won't get RQ because of living abroad :-(

thanks for your answer.the more you answer the more I can guess the average time excluding exceptions.

Yes, I was out of the country for almost 6 months a few years ago.
I got RQ before test and it was processed according to the ATIP notes. I guess since it was processed and they have looked at all evident I sent so questions were no more necessary. I was actually interviewed by the same officer who processed by RQ.

I hope you don't get RQ either.

Hi Yolka,

Appreciate your response a lot. One more question please - So did you travel / had absences during the FOUR year period? If yes, approx. how many times and days did you travel please?

Thanks and Regards,
