Hi Friends here is my timeline,

We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on July 23, 2012.

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on July 23, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

We started processing your application on December 21, 2012.

We sent you a notice on January 14, 2014 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 29, 2014 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment

RQ mailed to Scarborough office in February 2013.

I passed my test and waiting for CJ decision.

and waiting for my oath date.

I have passed test today at 1:00pm too..with 20/20.. and the guy told me have to wait for CJ decision..and a letter for oath will be mail in 2-3 months time

I have a question, did you travel outside Canada before or after your citizenship application?

Sorry for late reply... yes i have few trips to USA and one over seas before applying for citizenship.

After your interview what was the timeline given by the officer with regard to when to expect an oath date please?

I had test and interview on the 30th Jan at same place and similar timelines to yours including RQed back in Feb 2013

Oh, you got RQ after the test?
So, does this mean, you now have to wait 24 to 36 months for your oath?

No no - my timeline is in my signature. RQed last year Jan 2013. Had my test in Jan 2014 more than 3 weeks ago. Waiting for oath

Congratulations to all those who have taken and passed the test! I was wondering, as you guys have taken the actual test, are there questions specific to the province you live in or are the majority of questions more broadly based? Any input would be very much appreciated.
