Test Engineer NOC group

Hi all,
I am a Test Engineer by profession, Mainly working on Mobile and Web application testing using manual method. Could someone please suggest me under which NOC group Test Engineers will come ?

I found 2 groups,
1, 2173
2, 2283

I think my responsibilities matches more accurately with 2283 and it is not in top 50 NOC list.
Can i apply on 2173 ?

I'm so confused , please help me.....

Hello Padmaraj.

You can apply for any NOC as long as you have at least one year experience within the past 10 years in an occupation which has job roles that match significantly with the NOC you are applying for.

Sadly, NOC 2173 is filled up already for this current stream of applicants. I would advice that you start preparing you documents to apply for the Express Entry with starts in Jan 2015. You can learn about the Express Entry here www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/express/express-entry.asp
