Hi,
I applied for my Citizenship in July 2009.
I have read of people being assigned their test date who are then given their oath date much later. I just checked online today and they sent a letter for my test date and oath within 10 days of each other. (Test Date letter sent May 5 and Oath Date letter sent May 15th)
Does this mean that once I pass the test and take the oath I am a Canadian Citizen? Could it take longer once I get there and pass the test?
I'm confused why I got my test date and oath date within five days of each other, and other people on this forum have to wait months to find out when they take their oath. I know the citizenship process is not perfectly timed for everyone but I'm just wondering where I stand. I'm also probably a little anxious and wanted to make sure.
Best,
Hasin
