Even your application has passed the processing time, they can't escalate it for you? They can do nothing? God so irresponsible, like they can do whatever they want, want to give result or delay until whenever they want to. I guess we have no hope but wish for a miracle.

Nope. The agent said there is nothing that can be done and to just wait. I also applied for a PR card renewal when I saw how slow citizenship applications are going and I am still waiting on that as well a year and nine months later.

1 year and nine months for pr card renewal ? Isn't it only 4 months for processing time? You scared me

Applied for notes 3 times and 2 times csis but that doesn't seems to help i guess at all as that was long before

Just contacted mp and they are due to discuss with ircc in meeting on tuesday nov 29, but this all happened even before that

Perhaps if you submit another csis ATIP they would hopefully give details of your security screening case, now that it is complete. You may get a clue as to why they were interested in you.

I don’t know how csis can justify taking so long for security for normal people with no military/government links.

Yes, it is a good idea. but CSIS will not state reason, they only provide status. May be i might do it at the end just GCMS notes, just to see if i can see any reason there or notes in security section, before they used to hide it always in the last 3 times.

Anyone you know or here can tell if CSIS release any details after checks are done ?

I’m also interested to know whether anyone got more details on security check after it was completed.

On my last request it said cannot release details until the case is complete. No harm trying when your process is fully complete. Csis respond pretty quickly to ATIP requests

I tried to apply for csis notes for about 35 days now and didn't get any response! Is that normal?
