hi guys.

here is a question for you.

The US consulate contacted me to get the non-immigrant visa stamped on my passport. my questions is, would the visa on my passport trigger an RQ at the test center? please note that i applied for the visa after sending my citizenship application in and my family got it on the spot and off course non of us visited the US yet. do you think it is better to go to the test with or without the visa stamped?

I am confused.

I would be really thankful for a thoughtful input about that?

Mapleleaves,

Having a visa stamped into your passport is logically not an RQ trigger. You are not a prisoner in Canada, you are free to move, to travel...as long as you respect your residency obligations as a PR, you shouldn't worry.

Have a nice trip to the US !

Cheers!
