Tentative days after application received by CIO for PCC request

Hello friends,

My application was received by CIO on 5th Nov 2013 and I have submitted my PCC along with it which was dated 14th Aug 2013. Can you advise if I should send latest PCC upfront OR should wait for request from CIO for same ?

Since, I am in India for another week and getting PCC will be really easy for me, also I got my new passport for which also I need to notify CIO. Kindly advise if I should send my new passport copy along with latest PCC or not ?

Lastly, after how much time CIO request for PCC, in general.

I dont think you need to send latest PCC to CIO. However it is better to write CPP-O about this.
Regarding the new passport send the soft copies to CPP-O.

CIC want's PCCs that are not older than three ( 3 ) months by the time you apply, so your PCC is fine.

Toby is right. No need to send PCC again, send your passport copy as per instruction provided in Toby's site

Thanks guys, I got 2 copies of PCCs for CANADA and anyways if I am not sending them, they are loosing their validity sitting with me and doing nothing. I am thinking to send new passport detail along with PCC. I will still have 1 copy left of PCC with for any future reference.

Please advise.
