Temporary work permit location

Dear Seniors,

I am on TWP working in Toronto for an employer.
My employer wants to send me to client place in vancouver for a year.

I am concerned about the location.
Is it okay to work in different location than it is stated on temporary visa paper attached in passport?
Am I eligible for Health insurance and other public services from different state than signed up for?

Any information would be helpful.

Hi Gatt

I know you are able to do business within other provinces however I don't think you are able to live in another province unless you have another LMO (I may be wrong, could someone clarify this please?) You would need to register for health cover and in BC you would only receive cover after 3 months so your employer would need to cover this period. If this is only a temporary secondment then it might be possible for your employer to change the WP just for a short time however it is only under PR that you are able to live anywhere you choose. That is my understanding, hopefully someone can clarify
