Temporary visa after study permit extension

Hello, do I need to extend visa just for four months after my study permit extension of four months , however, in that four month period I will not leave canada and I will apply for post graduation work pwrmit and then I will extend my temporary visa, is that right or for applying post graduation work permit , valid temporary is must

No, it's not must unless you are planning to re-enter Canada. You can apply for a TRV after PGWP approval.
