Temporary visa after PR renouncement

Hey guys, i had a PR, it was expired in 2010.. I was asked to provide some documents to renew my PR but i couldn't. So i renounced my PR. Now i want to apply for a normal visa and maybe apply for a Phd in the future and then i can reapply again for a PR from the start. My question is, will my PR or renouncement affect my application for a normal visa now or a PR in the future ? What should i do ? Thanks

If you did all legally and everything is in order, then it will have no effect.

I did nothing actually, i applied for PR renwal in 2010.. They needed more proofs that i stayed 2 years.. I provided some but werent enough for them.. and i did nothing from that time, until i renounced it.
