Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me with my application. I am a single boy from Iran. I am going to apply for TRV with my father, mother and sister. Because my job, travel history and financial status is better can I be the main applicant of this family application? I am worried because family member is defined as

• your spouse or common-law partner
• your dependent child
• your spouse or common-law partner’s dependent child

So I don't know what to do?

Your parents and sister will have to demonstrate their own evidence to be approved for the TRV. They cannot depend on your financial status, job and travel history to be approved.

They do have their own evidence , my question is can i be their representative ? IMM5713E must be filled in online submissions, But Im not yet sure if a son can be representative to his parents and sister.

The GC ACCOUNT is mine & and when I create the visitor application it asks Do you want to submit an application for a family member? Here in answer to this question can I consider my sister and parents as family member ? Because of the definition of family member I am confused.

Our applications for TRV been submitted in kuwait VFS since 31 July , we were asked for a further document on 26 Aug which we submitted and so far we haven’t heard back from anyone despite email follow up to the Consulate In Abu Dhabi.
We contacted the Canadian Embassy and were told they don’t get updates to follow up thru email which we did several time . Online tracking shows that the applications in process with the consulate/embassy in Abu Dhabi but our initial plan to Teavel is 11 October which is 4 days from now and surely now we have to change that.
Who shall we contact for better update on our application instead of the tracking platform ? And what could be the reasons for taking soo long ? It can’t be an application is misplaced or so right since it’s a paper applications thru VFS !!!???

Everybody should submit their own application.

Yes, you can be their authorized representative. They need to fill IMM 5713E like you've mentioned

There's no better way to track your applications. You have the most accurate, real-time status available in your online account.

What is the update for background checks?

No, your applications have not been misplaced. Proof of this? Request by IRCC to submit the additional document.

TRV decisions are not expedited based on an applicant's travel dates. If processing has crossed the IRCC time published for your country of residence, you can send a IRCC web form to request for early decisions

Hi,I have apply my visitor visa on 31st July from Delhi vfs,but still says it's proccesing, but I have to travel Africa on 20th October, Please guide me how can i get back my passport soon as possible, if i withdrawal my application now then what is the procces and how long thy took to give back my passport.i can not wait anymore it's All most 2and a half month.i don't understand why thy taking long time

Yes, you can be their authorized representative. They need to fill IMM 5713E like you've mentioned
