i have an aunt living in saskatoon with her family as a permanent resident card holder- she wants me to go there in a TRV..she will send me invitation letter stating i will be staying with her and she will shoulder my expenses throughout my stay in her place - I am currently employed here in the philippines with a salary above minimum. I have 2 sons aged 7months old and 8 years old. My family is all living here...Is this enough proof i have strong ties here in the philippines? i dont have travel history -with this circumstances do i have a chance to get TRV...tnx :)

Your aunt is not eligible to sponsor you since she has her own family (husband and/or children I presume). She would only be able to sponsor if she had no parents, husband, children living. If you really want to come to Canada, you should try to immigrate here as a skilled worker.

Yup then she can't sponsor you. You'll have to come here as a skilled worker. Lots of Filipinos come here through some form of skilled work stream.

Canada immigration website says this with regards to family migration.

You can sponsor relatives or family members from abroad if they are:

*your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner 16 years of age or older;
*your parents or grandparents;
*your dependent children, including adopted children;
*children under 18 years of age whom you intend to adopt;
*your brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces or grandchildren who are orphans; under the age of 18 and not married or in a common-law relationship; or
*a relative of any age if you do not have an aunt, uncle or family member from the list above who you could sponsor or who is already a Canadian citizen, Indian or permanent resident

based on my understanding on this post --definitely my aunt can sponsor me ---

what i want to know is is she still qualified to sponsor me eventhough she dont have a savings in a bank since she is still paying the house mortage and car loans---tnk you very much--

No, she most definitely CAN'T sponsor you. She already has a family in Canada.

You are misreading that list

a relative of any age if you do not have an aunt, uncle or family member from the list above who you could sponsor or who is already a Canadian citizen, Indian or permanent resident.

Your aunt has family so she can't sponsor nieces. It's called the "lonely Canadian" rule.

You'll have to look into skilled worker immigration or PNP immigration.

Turn off the CAPS lock.

Canada allows for sponsorship of immediate family memmber; a niece does not qualify. The only situation that would allow her to sponsor you is if she had no family in Canada and no immediate family members alive to be sponsored. Your aunt was not sponsored by a cousin; I'm guessing she immigrated through a provincial program in Saskatchewan or Manitoba where there are immigration streams allowing residents to help qualified relatives apply to immigrate.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/relatives-apply-who.asp#who_can

You may sponsor one relative, related by blood or adoption, of any age if you meet ALL of the following conditions:

you do not have a spouse, common-law partner, or conjugal partner, or one of the following living relatives you could sponsor instead:
son or daughter,
parent,
grandparent,
brother or sister,
uncle, aunt,
nephew or niece.

you do not have any of the above-named relatives who is a:
Canadian citizen,
permanent resident, or

registered Indian under the Indian Act.

Regardless of how your aunt and her family migrated here - she cannot sponsor you through Family Class. You will have to qualify for PR through a different immigration stream like Provincial Nominee or Federal Skilled Worker. You can ask the same question as many times as you like however the answer isn't going to change.
