Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) for Dependents

Hi,

I just want to ask the forum if anybody has applied for a Temporary Work Permit (TWP) and applied his/her depends for a TRV? How long will be the duration of the TRV? Will it be the same as the duration of the TWP?

If you applied for both together, I think you would get it around the same time.
I had applied for my wife's TRV separately(as I was not married when I got TWP), and the wait time was basically dependent on the 'processing times for TRV' of the consulate (which are posted on cic's website).

If I will be granted 3 years TWP. Will they also give my dependents 3 years TRV?

When did you I apply your wife? Please give an update when the results has come out. Thanks!
