I have submitted my online application on February 9, 2015. Received passport request on Feb 24, sent by Xpress post on 24 and received CIC on Feb 27.

Please share your time lines here.

Anyone know after submitting passport request, how long will it take to return back ?
Also, i applied TRV for my spouse also but she didnot get the passport request, what is the reason behind this ?

I applied on 13th Feb and got my passport back on 2nd March.

Did you apply by mail? My paper application reached the visa office on Feb 13. I havent got my passport back.

I saw the Processing time today and it is saying that they are currently processing Feb 11 applications, I submitted my application on Feb 9 and till now I don't even see the application as Completed, I'm worried as I have vacation planned

What is the process for TRV paper application do we need to passport at same time, or we get the passport request and willl send later,

My wife and daughter in Visitor record can I get TRV from here in canada

I suggest you to submit online application, its easy and fast. For online, initially you will just submit Form, photo, Work Permit/Study Permit and scanned passport pages. After you submit, they review everything and send you notification to send passport to them. Then they will stamp visa and send you back passport.
