Friends,

It has been observed that process for grant of TRV has become very sluggish . People have been made to wait for more than a month nd no decision from CHC has come forth.It is very likely that many of us may have specific purpose of visit,namely to attend a family function,etc.If the visa is not granted in time,the very
purpose is defeated,as it may be an arduous task to make travel arrangement at short notice.

But then,visa office is not concerned about the uncertain situation an applicant has to pass through.It will remain stuck to its own norms.

Wait is very taxing,nonetheless .

Hello apply date 28th April they send passport request on 27th may. But passport request will not upload to cic online account due to some technical problem. Today when my lawyer contact them about my application then cic will resend now I have to submit my passport at vac thanks.

Thanks for posting update.

Hope and wish you would get back visa stamped PPT. Please note that the moment you open the envelope and find only the passport in it, it will be a moment to celebrate.

its taking long. My purpose was visiting husband for his convocation which was last month end...

It is really very sad that you have to miss out the occasion just because of the delayed processing system.Your concern is understandable.

But then,VO WOULD NOT COME TO KNOW the purpose of applicant's visit so long as packet containing the application + supporting docs. is assigned to him/her (VO) or reaches the top of the pack OF APPLICATIONS arranged in the order of their arrival at CHC and is opened FOR PROCESS. It seems inventory has piled up to the extent that it is not commensurate to the available resource at CHC.

Therefore,we have to undergo this painstaking wait.
