Temporary resident visa application online: quick passport question

Hey guys,

I'm in Quebec with a PGWP, I'm looking to renew my visa, and through the CIC website, the online application does not ask me to mail CIC my passport.... The last time I applied, I mailed my passport to Ottawa. Did I do something wrong, or do they not ask for the passport when you apply for the visa online? If so, how on earth do I get the visa on my passport? :/

What I heard is that they will send an email, once the have verified your docs, asking you to mail your passport to them
