TEMPORARY RESIDENT VISA APPLICATION FILED ON 11 OCT 2013

It is has been 35 working days as of today and I haven't heard anything from them yet.
I am so tensed I have planned my trip on the 15th Dec.

The CPP Ottawa already started working on applications received on 21st OCT then why are they not returning me my passport yet?

IS THERE ANYONE WHO APPLIED BEFORE 11TH OCTOBER ?

please help me out.

Hey sorry I am going through the same thing, did you get your passport yet?
I submitted my paper application on October 26 they received it on October October 29th and till now I have had no response from them. I emailed them 4 times and I keep calling the call center agents but they seems to know nothing about Ottawa office. I did put an urgency on my application on Friday 13th of December to get my passport back to me as I already cancelled my tickets that I had booked for that day (December 13).
I need to visit back home as soon as possible, its really very urgent I have provided them with my details too. I can't seem to find a way to contact the Ottawa office, thinking for going there in person on Wednesday 18th- but doesn't look like anyone had any success with that till now.

Hey , I have the same scenario. they received my passport on 28 OCT. I did not get my passport back,, I emailed them for urgency and i got an email back that your file has been transferred to New YORK. Any updates from your side??

Yes same thing and that my passport will be returned to be with an explanation letter!!! Idk wats going to happen, CPPO is really taking loooongggg. its been 50 days for me

in the email they did not say that they are going to send my passport back,,, they just said your file has been transferred to NY. Do u think we made any mistake in file.?? I will have to cancel tickets.

I applied online on the 1st November. Also had a ticket booked for the 24th which I had to cancel today (Paid a hefty fee to cancel) because they didn't process my file on time..Don't understand why they are taking so long..

I am in the same boat....i got a letter saying that my TRV application has been transferred from ottawa to los angeles and returned my passport back to me...i have no idea why this happened....i have all-ready booked my flight back home for 5 feb 2014..........could u kindly share what is going to happen now......
