VISA Issued on: May-21-2013

Just received my PP back with a Visa stamp for 1 year from LA consulate. Wasn't expecting it so fast.

Time lines :

Applied online : May 1st
PP request : May 27th
PP received by LA consulate : May 29th
PP received : June 1st.

NOTE : I have attached a covering letter to process it urgently with my US visa appointment date letter to it.
 
Ordeal about to end... I'm finally getting my mother-in-law's passport today! :-X

Could not send passport immediately due to intervening travel (10 days)

Passport sent: May 6th, 2013

can anyone give a step by step process on how they applied for trv single/multiple online im kinda nervous dont ave an invitation letter cuz its not for me its for my mom she is in the states on her h1b visa im a canadian living outside canada
 
My friend was at NY Consulate today to submit his Visitors visa application. He was told the normal processing time is 53 days.
NY Consulate website isnt upto date with this information. :o
 
yo this is mess up cuz if i do it online i would ave to get a letter of invitation for her n if ido it by mail where i would get the forms for her to fill out she is not a computer wiz....wat should i do
 
dammm it now wen i try taking the online assessment test now its saying that she would better doing a family sponsoring in the future...but i think it comes down to the part where its says whats your relationship to the person in canada cuz i put im a citizen and the the tricky part is child/grandchild-parent/grandparent
 
Received my Passport yesterday evening. Had sent an email and Fax to NYC about the urgency of my travel on 12th June to Canada.

Timeline are -

Online submission - 23rd April
Passport Request - 16th May
Passport reached NYC - 20th May
Passport received - 5th June
 
I got my passport back. Here are my timelines...... :)

Passport reached NYC - 9th May
Passport received - 7th June

Had to send two emails within 2 days this week to get my passport back....and they sent passport without photo on the visa.....is this normal?

Yes, they don't have the photo on the visa even though they ask to submit photo online.
