Hello everyone. Here is my situation. I am here on a Work Permit, engaged to a Canadian citizen, and would like for my mother to be able to join me here, under the provision of travel exemption allowing for immediate family of temporary residents to reunite. I was wondering if anyone else has family who has done this, and if so, how they had phrased their request in the letter to the IRCC asking for permission? My mother is not in the US, if that impacts the answer at all. Also, her brother is a Canadian citizen. I know that is not covered under immediate family, but might there be any options there which I have not seen in which he could help her travel here? Thanks in advance for any advice.

You will need to request authorization from IRCC in order for her to be allowed to travel. (She will also need an approved TRV or eTA.) There are several existing discussions on this topic. One of those is below. You will need to demonstrate why her reasons for traveling now are essential.

With the current situation (Covid-19) and travel restrictions, justification for travel even for family unification may be difficult, unless there is a very strong reason to travel. You can try to apply for a visa or eta, but you also have to look at the visa office your mother is applying from. Is the visa office operational and what type of applications are they accepting currently. These are varied country to country based on active Covid cases.
