Temporary resident Status or temporary resident Permit?

Good Morning,

I am filling up the IMM 5708 form to extend my stay in Canada.

I am currently here in Canada as a visitor.

Right at the top of the form are three options that I have to chose from:

1) An extension of a temporary resident status
2) An initial or extension of a temporary resident permit
3) A restoration of your status as a visitor.

Can you tell me which option I have to choose?

I have already multiply visit visa of canada for 2 years so can u plz tell me that im eligible to apply permenant resident visa during my stay in canada im from pakistan and on this visa im eligible too do job if not than how can i legally get work permit thanks

You need to check if you meet the requirements to apply for PR. No one here can know.

No, you cannot work while here as a visitor. If you want to apply for a work permit, you will need a job offer and positive LMIA from an employer here in Canada.
