Temporary Resident Status in a Country other than Permanent Residence

Hello mates,
I got confused by the wording of section 11 of form A-1520-AA (document checklist) and I will appreciate if someone can help. It was written "Temporary resident status in a country other than your country of citizenship or permanent residence. If this section does not apply to your situatino, go to the next section"

I am a permanent resident of an EU country and I am a citizen of another country. My understanding of the quoted text above is that this section is not applicable to me since I am a permanent resident of another country. The "other than" in the quoted text is what confused me and the real meaning of that is that section 11 is not applicable to both citizens and permanent residents as well. If this is the case, how will they know that I am a permanent resident if I do not show them any document? Could someone in a similar situation explain what they did in this section? Thanks all.

Yes, assuming you will be working in... shall we say Turkey for 6 month on a visa, you will be temporary resident there, but you permanent residency is in one of the EU states and your passport is of India.

Thanks for the reply andy108 but I don't understand the point you are trying to make. The question is about QSW / CSQ and not a general question. If you go to sectino 11 of the form in the link below, you will see what I am talking about.

Let me clarify this for you by my situation:

I was a temporary resident in France , and now I am a temporary resident in Canada.

So I will have to write Canada and France. ( both of them are not my country of citizenship)

If I was in France as PR and in Canada as TR, then I would only write CANADA.

So you have to exclude your country of citizenship AND the country where you hold a PR.

Thanks YoussefZaky. This answers my question :)
