hi,

i sent an application online and luckily, an employer replied.. they are in the hospitality business in fairview, alberta...they did not make any interview...they just based it on my resume...they sent me email regarding their offer and has just asked me some questions on why i wanted to work in canada..

i work in the field of accounting/payroll and their offer is for me to work as front desk clerk... do you think i will be given a visa if il apply in Manila knowing that my field of experience is far different from being a front desk staff? though there is a very minimal similarity....only the receiving of cash..the billing to guests...

i worked in qatar also for 7 months..i know it requires to have a police certificate there... what if i cannot obtain one because at the moment...i'm already back in the philippines... is it already a ground for the denial of my application?

You need a valid lmo from your employer. Its the most important thing when applying.

@ Sugarhigh

according to them, they already have an unnamed lmo which is going to expire on may.. do i need to have my documents like the (tor, nbi) to be red-ribboned? or, it is just fine to submit the original documents?

am i going to submit the original passport in my application?

thanks...

Depends on from what visa office are you applying? No need red ribboned copies, originals and certified true copies will do. If your applying here in manila, you need to submit your original passport.

i'll apply in manila....

however, my problem now is how to get a police certificate from qatar... i stayed there for 7 months and i've read before that police certs are being required if you live in a certain country for 6 months...

thanks!

Here are the instructions for obtaining a police certificate from Qatar (including instructions if you don't live there):
