Hello, my wife has applied to me for outland spousal sponsorship in July and recently we called CIC and they gave us a temporary application number and they said that they are checking my file and if all the documents required are attached they will give us a permanent file number, my question is what this temporary application number can help me with and what does AOR stands for, does this file number means I can start calculating my 12 months temporary application number temporary application number processing tim, how long does it usually take to give us a permanent file number? thank you in advance.

Hello everyone, I received temporary file number on January 18/2024. I sent the missing documents and I received an email from ircc that said 'we received your documents'. And still waiting for G number.
Anyone knows how long should I wait?

Hi called IRCC to get Temporary file number and that file number starts with XEP------- BUT when i goes to raise webform for sending some additonal documents to support my application. It says error that i cannnot use file number starts with alphabet ''X''.

PLEASE GIUIDE WHAT SHOULD I DO
