Temporary file number, AOR?

Hi,

We submitted an inland application in November, and recently called CIC. They gave us a temporary file number and we haven't received an AOR email yet.
Is this common? Does the temporary file number change after AOR?

Well I sent my stuff out and 7 days later i got a file number ad a uci number

They receive mine on november 3,2014 i got an email december that they receive my package with my file number too..i call recently about my owp they say in march they send them out .

Hi, if I'm not wrong,and from what i have been noticing, it takesbalmost 2months for people to receive confirmation of package received along with aor/UCI . if I may ask,how did you get yours in 7days? Was it a different category of sponsorship?

I think you should call the call centre, when they give a temporary file it either means they need more information or they are conducting checks on you.
