I work in a full-time job in Canada and on a temporary resident visa with a work permit and LMIA associated with my employer. I received an ITA for federal skilled worker express entry based on my work experience outside Canada and will submit the application pretty soon. I have to move to US for a family reason right after I submit the application and need to come back after a while. I may have to resign from my current job after I leave Canada but I think I will be able find another job before coming back. My questions are: (i) is there any chance my FSW application will be rejected if I leave the country after submission? (ii) If my PR is granted, can I request to send my passport for stamping to US based Canadian embassy?

You can't resign if you claimed 50 points for a LMIA based job offer. Otherwise you can leave.

I did claim 50 points based on LMIA based job offer and at the time of application it will not be changed. If I resign or lose my job AFTER submitting the application, will my PR application get affected? I don't think LMIA will be any issue as that is valid only for 6 months anyway.
yes it will.. once u reject offer .. company will report to labor and get that LMIA void... its written on LMIA as well.. I think usually on page 3... if you got the entire company...its a process and companies have to follow
Okay just to be clear, I already started working on this job in Canada and LMIA expired in last September (it was issued in March) so it is not clear how it will become void.
If your CRS remains above cutoff of that round after losing 50 points, you are probably still good. Otherwise you'll be in trouble.
lets start again.. while doing PR application you were in company correct..
then you left company during pR process... now my man as per definition of valid job offer is..for 50 points.. that job should be valid for at least 1 yr post PR.. and if you left job and company reports your base condition will be void
