Hi all

I have file in 24th Nov in FSW (29 Category)

i got my file back (on 11th back) with temp number and asking for new fee draft, as some how my draft was cancled.
i resend all doc. with new draft on 15th Feb.

how can i trace my file. when can i aspect file number (@3 months form feb or early)?

can anyone help me?

Didnt your file have a number something like UCI number.

Or else visit the nearest embassy and request them to give your UCI number

What is this UCI number? with out any reference at local embassy as process is done at nova scotia how can i contact them?

UCI means Unique Client Identifier. A unique number given to you for all your future issues with immigration and visas.

Give your Surname, Other names, DOB, Place of birth and they will get you the information; send the email from the email address you provided during the application.

Yes i got UCI number in the letter form immigration dept.

how can i make use of that?

You can go to the CIC website and enter the UCI number, name, DOB and Place of birth to look into the present status of your file.

If you are going for any correspondence with the office please indicate your UCI number first, name, dob and place of birth with your contact address.

If you are calling the embassy give the UCI number and get the information.

In the drop down list did you select that the number you are giving is the UCI number. Because there are 100s of numbers and you need to tell that the number you are entering is the UCI.

Also remember sometimes the online is down. may be 40% of the time

I am worried for will they treat my file as new file and take another 3 months for EOR or will proceed earliar
