My question,

...when obtaining a temporary work visa (obviously after a job offer), does it have to be NOC related like the Express Entry programs.
I can't seem to find much concrete information on this subject.

Thank you.

Your question isn't very clear.

If you obtain a temporary work permit as a result of a job offer (and LMIA) - that work permit will be a closed work permit that is tied to that specific employer and that specific job. If you want to work for another employer or in a different role (different NOC), you would need to obtain a new job offer (and LMIA) and a new closed work permit.

Ok, sorry. Let me rephrase it. For instance, I am a CNC machinist in the UK so therefore to apply for PR under Express Entry I would apply under NOC 7231. If I wanted to apply for a completely different type of job under a Tempoary Work Permit is it in the same guidlines of the Express Entry. ( So many years of experience, etc).
Any information is appreciated.

Thank you for your time.
